not that i needed another watch, i love my movado and burberry watches but this watch was really too good of a deal to pass up! can't wait i should have it shortly! good thing i didn't run off to oak brook like i planned on! whew!

guess i will be calling my insurance agent shortly to add the watch to my personal articles policy! yippee!!! it's a small premium to pay, but in the event of a loss it's worth having --- believe me!

seriously, another shooting!!

as if the tragedy at fort hood wasn't enough, right! some psycho went on a shooting rampage in a dowtown orlando office building this morning ...SERIOUSLY!! sad thing he is still on the run! the office building is located downtown across from the Sheraton. very sad, i hope they catch this psycho and soon!!

oh well, TGIF - - right! tonight we are heading out for lobster...can't wait!! afterwards we are going out for a movie, not sure what we are going to see but i hope it's good! ;)

i am all ready for halloween, how about you? i made gift bags for the ghost and goblins i hope will stop over. i decided against the traditional candy and am giving out scooby-do fruit snacks 5 packets of kool-aid.

curious....am i the only person who reads the obit section in my hometown paper? not sure why, but i have been doing this for years. can't explain why, i just do it!

i also read the births, engagement and wedding sections in my hometown paper too.

curious if anyone else is guilty of checking out the obit section? come on, be honest! ;)

i know it's early, but i took these photos last year and wanted to share them with you all again. someone wanted to be the 1st to wish you a happy halloween! hee! hee!

i was actually going to buy another outfit, but they don't go over very well with cats! if i had a dog, well that's another story.

so for now, this is what my cat really thinks about this lobster outfit, ha! ha!
friday, also known as devil's night for those of you in the midwest or michigan or even more specific metro detroit....ha! ha! well, that evening mr. PLD and i will be going out for lobster! can't wait.....oh, and some calamari too! YUMMY!

hopefully we will get TONS of kids on saturday! i have tons of candy to give out, serious overload! ha! ha! if only we were back in grosse pointe - no problem, after all the detroit kids venture into grosse pointe in van loads. it was great, but the end of the evening i was giving out fistfulls worth of candy....but here, well that's another story....come little kiddies, come trick or treat!

so tempting...

i am so tempted to purchase the following set of dinnerware from villeroy & bach called petite fleur. i have loved this set for a long time, but never wanted dinnerware with a pattern on it. okay, one exception my holiday dinnerware which is spode christmas tree.

oh decisions! decisions! decisions!!!! i have williams-sonoma brasserie in white, williams sonoma - ops, can't think of the pattern at the moment but the color is cornflower blue [UPDATE: it's from the belvedere collection, i knew i would eventually remember ;) ] and then there is my china - lenox federal platinum. i love the simplicity of solid dinnerware which can be dressed up with tablecloths, etc.

i really don't need another set of dinnerware but it's on sale for a really good price at rue la la! i have it sitting in my basket but can't decide.......UGH!!!

tomorrow rue la la is having their waterford event. i am hoping for some good items there, so we shall see.....UGH!!!
