i decided to order another dell inspiron! i just hope this laptop lasts as a lot longer than my other dell inspiron that lasted about 2 years to the day! ARGH!!!!!!
anyway, my computer arrived, no one was home and the fedex guy decided to leave the computer right on my doorstep so someone could steal it! thanks very little mr. fedex guy! seriously?!?!?!
that's the beginning....tonight i had to contact linksys about my wireless router, since i couldn't remember the passcode.....or so i thought! well, the C/S rep who certainly sounded like he was in india....after providing the model #, serial #, my phone #, name, email, etc.....well, it was going to cost me $29.99 for help with the passcode! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!
apparently, my 3 year old cisco wireless router is VERY OUTDATED and the warranty has ended.....blah! blah! blah! well, i showed them....PLD is online, thank you very little linksys/cisco customer service. still can't get over they wanted to charge me $29.99 for a service call, really?!?!?
then it was time to download the norton anti-virus [FREE thanks to comcast] and i was good to go! ....so glad that ordeal is done an over with! ha! ha! ha! ...best of all NO MORE microsoft vista....YEAH!
...now if only i could locate the CD for the HP wireless printer, argh!!!

Ooo, I am super jealous of your new baby. <3 I need a new laptop of my own. As for the crazy FedEx guy, I can't believe you didn't have to sign. Its not like it was a Barnes and Noble order. Glad its there so you can keep blogging up a storm.
Yeah for new computers! I bought a new one a few weeks ago and it is life changing to have something that works consistently!!

I've had FedEx leave several pricey items on my doorstep without asking anyone to sign. I don't understand why they do that!
