we had every intention of heading up to lake geneva, wisconsin but decided to stay in town. i am so glad we did! instead we headed over to the old town art fair.
usually, my past experiences at the old town art festival have been with hanging out with friends, listening to music and drinking beer! ...oh yeah!! 
speaking of drinking beer -- don't forget next weekend is the sheffield garden walk & festival, so much for the garden walk it's more of a drunk fest! ha! ha! another one of my favorite chicago summertime festivals! 
i saw a lovely painting i really wanted! too bad it had a $3,000+ price tag to go along with it.....i passed! sadly, so out of my budget! ha! ha!
the old town art fair is one of many that take place in chicago during the summer. i tell ya, you can't be summertime in chicago! no joke! certainly, makes up for the long dreaded winters we suffer while many of you are still basking in sunshine! ha! ha!
parking on the other hand....shockingly, after driving around for about 20 mins. we actually lucked out! we ended up parking on sedgwick, a few steps aways from stanley's and sedgwick's! i have so many great memories hanging out at those bars...back in my single days! having been married for 10 years, i don't make it out to the bar scene as must as i used too! ha! ha!
oh well, afterwards we went over to armitage and had a white frosty at argo tea! i love argo tea!

i highly recommend this eating at the twisted lizard if you are ever in chicago and craving good mexican food & margaritas! it's definitely one of my favorite places for mexican food! instead, we had sushi which i posted about two posts ago! in all it was a fabulous day! as for today, i have spent the day cleaning, doing laundry and moving furniture around! jealous? should should be...NOT!!! ha! ha!
oh well, tomorrow it's back to work and then next weekend i will be spending a weekend with about 8 of my sorority sisters! it's going to be a blast! i can't wait! ...is it friday yet? ha! ha!
