for those of you who missed my post from 2 posts ago, check out this adorable lemonade stand below. isn't it adorable! i especially love the saying, "keep calm and drink some lemonade" --- love it! 
there were tons of sidewalk sales all over town! next year i am leaving my husband at home! ha! ha!
anyway, i picked up these adorable white pierced lanterns from two's company. i looked them up online and they are far more expensive that what i paid! i really scored a deal on these! they were marked down to $16/each! i was only going to buy one, but good thing i decided to buy both! i love them! i found them online selling for as much as $80.00/each!
ironically, i own a large pierced lantern in Wedgwood blue and wanted a pair in white. can't believe me luck! sometimes i have faith in "the secret" -- especially, when it comes to finding parking spaces! ha! ha!
oh well, aren't they cute! i know....love 'em!!
i also bought this little hanging basket. i threw in some apples for the photo, not sure what i am going to use it for yet? mail, flowers....not sure? i am sure i will come up with something. best of all this little basket was on sale for ONLY $3.50! i thought for sure it would be on sale for over $10.00, glad i was wrong!
we also made a stop over at the latest crave. a cute little cupcake shop that all about pink & green! check out the pink & green umbrellas above that belong to a neighboring restaurant. so cute! sorry, my photo doesn't really do justice!

ops, someone was a little hungry! my husband had my half of the cupcake sliced in half before i could even take a photo...oh well, it was delicious anyway! ha! ha!

too bad, i was too late! the lemonade stand was closed by the time i walked by! ha! ha!
so this afternoon i went to swedish days in geneva, illinois. what a fun festival! i had no idea most of the stores participated in the side walk sale....let's just say, sales galore! i picked up a couple of goodies but will share them in another post!
all i can say, i am making this an annual trip! i had so much fun and can see why this festival is such a big deal! after all it is 6 days long!
i haven't decided but i might be heading back tomorrow for a sweedish breakfast hosted by the geneva vikings mimer lodge! it's actually an all-you-can-eat parade day breakfast and the menu consists of sweedish pancakes, fried herring [never had this before!], bacon, eggs, potatoes, grilled onions, sweet limpa rye bread [not sure, but i don't think have had this either?] and beverages....all for only $10/adults and $5/children. what a steal! definitely tempted to head back over tomorrow and try some of their sweedish pancakes....YUMMY!!
