traveling office and target deals!!

while at costco this afternoon, i checked out the march issue of oprah's magazine.

OMG!!!! do you have a traveling office? you know, one of these:

as if you needed an excuse for another l.l.bean tote, right!!?!?!?!?!!

WOW! this is such a fabulous idea!

not sure if you can see, but there are matching navy file folders! LOVE IT!!!!

i don't know about you, but i am SO going to make my own traveling office!

my order was over $60.00, so i qualified for FREE shipping without the coupon code, but it you want it you can use it! i ended up ordering(2) monogrammed totes in NAVY BLUE [shocker!] one SMALL [this one is going to make my own traveling office] and the other XL.

i have (2) l.l.bean duffle bags that i bought while on vacation in maine back in the early 80's, but haven't used them in years! yes, this was the same trip that we stayed at the samoset resort in camden, maine, in which i had NO interest in lobster! still can't believe there was a time in my youth in which i did not like lobster! of course, i obviously learned better! HA! HA!

speaking of costco, did you know they have a nice selection of magazines?

in case you didn't know you do now! HA! HA!

oh, i also came across an article called the buying diet. i read the 1st paragraph, got scared and flipped to the next page as fast as i could....LOL!

addition to costco, i also stopped over at target. i found these AWESOME dish towels on clearance for $1.24! i ended up buying 3 sets, 3 of each pattern --- 15 towels total. as much as i love my williams-sonoma dishtowels, they seems to disappear like my socks! i don't know what it is, but i buy dozens of socks and they all manage to vanish! another reason i bought so many, maybe i should go back and buy more! best of all they were super cheap! who doesn't love a deal!! ha! ha! ha!

another successful trip!

well, we just got back from michigan and enjoyed a wonderful time with family and friends. while in grosse pointe i supported local michigan businesses instead of hitting the mall, although i will admit i stopped at staples. ha! ha!

i bought myself a few goodies a pair of pink/white stephen bonanno's to add to my ever growing stephen bonanno/jack rogers sandal collection and another adorable lilly pulitzer mug --- so cute!

can you see the hanging monkey in the blue/white section of the cup? sooooo cute!!!

also, i got up early to take part in "black friday" --- whopping 8am! no early bird deals for this cat! i needed to pick up a new wi-fi printer to replace the current wi-fi lexmark printer we have owned for less than 6 months! yes, you read that right! it's a nice printer but it runs through a scan cycle prior to printing and it's soooooo annoying!!! plus the toner doesn't last worth crap! so hopefully the new printer i bought will work out perfect!!
