you see chicago really has only two seasons --- summer and winter! with that said, it's almost time to part with my favorite sandals...my beloved jack rogers and stephen bonanno sandals! i told you i would eventually post of sandal wheel...too bad my silver pair is not pictured as i accidentally left the sandals north...ops!
my sandal collection would have grown by two had the sandals below been in my size...DARN IT! i really wanted those green and white --- aka michigan state sandals! next time i am up in petoskey, michigan maybe i will get lucky! plus, they were on sale for ONLY $68.00 -- bummer!!

then there is always "fishtown" aka leland, michigan. can't go to "fishtown" without picking up some whitefish or chubb from carlson's for dinner! YUMMY!!!
yes, it was a tad bit on the chilly side --- i think it was 62 degrees out at the time this photo was taken. brrrr!!
oh, if you ever make it up to bay harbor, harbor springs or petoskey --- be sure and check out cutlers! i love this place and make it a point to shop there every time i am in the area.

oh well, thanks for tagging along my adventures in michgan! dispite the crap you hear on the news michigan is a fabulous place to live and visit!

I love the MSU Jack Rogers! I bought a white on white pair this Spring, and I've worn them all Summer. I'm obsessed!
Sorry the weather was so awful for your trip Up North! At least you were able to shop and still have a nice time.

Went to camp in Michigan for three summers. Beautiful! And each year we drove up the coast of Lake Michigan through Charlevioux (sp?) and spent a long weekend at the Iroquois on Mackinac. Just lovely!
Pretty pics! I was in Petoskey and Charlevoix for the bf's brother's wedding in August. The ceremony was at a little church in Petoskey and the reception was at Castle Farms. We stayed in cottages at Bay Harbor. Wish I had had some free time to shop!! :)
