you know the old saying, don't just a book by it's cover! well, i had the whole "wellie" fad all wrong! can you believe i want a pair of HUNTER wellies! i am seriously SHOCKED! no i don't plan on wearing them every day but when it rains or we have snowy weather they are great for traction! unlike my UGGS that have NO traction!!! you'd think for all the $$$ i spent on my UGGS they would have a little traction....NOPE!! don't get me wrong, i have (2) two pairs and a pair of slippers! they are supper warm, just NO traction!!
anyway, i love my tory burch rain boots but the red is a little loud for me!
so i want some advise....what style of HUNTER boots do you own or like? original, huntress, regent, carnaby...so many choices, help!!!! also, should i buy a pair in black, hunter green or navy? seeing that the tory burch pair is navy it might be a good idea for another color? decisions! decisions! decisions!

You don't have to worry about them turning color if they have the gloss finish - my friend has the Regent Savoy and I looveee them.
You know what? You read my mind! I've been considering a pair as well. I like the classic style in black (versatile for me). The socks are too cute and can personalize them a bit.....wonder if I could get the sock monogrammed? My uggs are black and a little filthy these days.!I also have the ugh mocs which are so warm but waterproof/traction is a must in this weather. Maybe the cable knit or fleece sock will make the hunters warmer? I'm also a fan of the classic green.
The classic style comes in a gloss. Mage that's better according to Miss Lindsay? It'll keep it's color? Never heard of that issue but good to know! Let us know what you decide?
I just bought my first pair of Hunter boots and I LOVE them. I highly recommend Zappos.com if you have not used the site before, they have free ship and return and even upgraded my shipping to overnight when I had to return for a size!
I ordered the original tall high gloss in black and they are super cute. The originals do have a tight fit with jeans, so I reordered the Huntress which is a bit large, but with socks for warmth they fit well. They do require socks of some sort to keep warm compared to Uggs, which I love too.
Navy or Green, of course I want pink. I like the women's traditional tall!
I have the original in a chocolate brown, the thing is that over time they "oxidize" that was what they told me at Nordstroms so they lighten a little in color and look like they have dust on them. I am making this sound horrible but I love how they look now. In the snow you would have to get the fleece liner to go inside or else your feet will freeze.
I love my hunter boots I wear them year round, plus you can change up the look by the liners

Everyone loves the traditional style! My j crew wellies have a whole in them as of yesterday major problem since we have 18 inches of snow. I just ordered the original high gloss navy this morning!
I have the black short Hunters. I love them!!! I also ordered the liners. They are awesome. I want it to rain everyday so I can wear them:).
I adore my hunter boots! I have the original in green. They go with everything, they are super comfortable, and they are WARM! I definitely recommend them.
I've been eyeing these TB rain boots for quite some time - I love them!
I love the rack! I just got the tall Carnaby boa boots in black and I love them. I feel like they are just a little edgy which I like. But if I had to pick another pair I'd go for original huntress in black or green. When in doubt going classic is always a good choice!
