monday's post, come on over...

i hope you all enjoyed a fabulous weekend! we had a great time up in northern michigan. i visited all my favorite towns including suttons bay, leland and glen arbor. i didn't make it up to northport, guess i will have to save that for when we head back up over the 4th of july.

i planned on going to a couple of wineries yesterday afternoon, but NO....i had to deal with HORRIBLE allergies instead! UGH....totally sucked! needless to say, i took a sudafed and an hour and a half later i was out for the night! boo!

yeah, nothing worse than constant sneezing followed by itchy eyes! UGH...thank god my mom was around and had some visine and sudafed. ha! ha!

oh well, at least i had a great time out on my parents new boat, made a couple of trips over to cherry republic - YUMMY, shopping and hanging with my family....overall it was a GREAT time!

i am still trying to plan our trip for july. i keep going back and forth between out east and down south [east coast] -- hopefully i will make up my mind soon! i am ready to pack up my LV keepall and travel again! ha! ha!

oh well, tomorrow i am looking forward to checking out rue la la's garmin and hyatt vacation sales! if there's a good deal at the hyatt in cambridge, maryland -- i might just have to jump on that deal!

also, i would like to purchase a garmin nuvi. i was going to buy one about a month ago at costco, but my husband talked me out of it! my t-mobile g-1 has many of the features, but it's a phone and when i am in places that don't have much of a connection it doesn't do me any good! we shall see..... well, i just showed my husband and he says to keep looking, whatever! i need to make up my mind soon, wherever we plan on going? ha! ha! he's just worried about the oil spil making it up the coast.

before i forget, has anyone been to the hyatt regency chesapeake bay golf resort, spa and marina in cambridge, maryland? did you like it? any thoughts? please share, thanks!

it's pretty close to annapolis.....another one of my favorite vacation destinations! guess i will have to wait until tomorrow to see what sort of a deal rue la la has and then i can decide!

however, it is definitely an option and then we could always drive into georgetown, d.c. and alexandria. there is plenty to do down there, but i am already planning a trip that way next year for my 20 year boarding school reunion in virgina. i usually fly into baltimore spent a couple days visiting alexandria, annapolis, georgetown and baltimore. decisions! decisions! decisions! ha! ha!
